Hello, I'm setting up a manufacturing model where a single operator will monitor a number of stations and will need to walk from station to station at various times. I'll use hypothetical times here... Let's say that I have 3 bake ovens that will be run by a single person. The bake cycle is 1 hour, but every 10 minutes the oven alarms and waits for the operator to walk over and "do something". This "something" only takes 1 minute, so I would have 6 minutes of labor (excludes walking) for each bake cycle on each oven. The issue is, I don't want to just assign the 6 minutes of labor to the 1 hour cycle. I need to show how the operator has to walk from oven to oven after each 10-minute alarm sounds. So, is there a way to require labor at certain intervals within a single process? Or, do I need to break up 1-hour process into smaller, 10-minute processes? If I do need to break it up into smaller processes, how do I display the 3 ovens as 3 objects? Thank you, John

Hi John, You can set this up using a department/layer as the oven so that there are three ovens on the model top level but the details of the oven process will be hidden in the layer/department. Inside the oven department/layer there will be the breakdown of the processes in the 10 minute increments like you mention. You can even put a process with one minute cycle time along with a resource requirement to further separate the behavior. Thanks
