SIMDATA – ADDING/DEFINING PROCESSES, OBJECTS & RESOURCES
  • To add or edit processes, click “Manage Processes”.
  • To add a new process, click “Add Process Definition”.
  • Enter the desired process name and description in the designated fields. When finished, click Save Changes.
  • To return to the main page, click “Return to Main Controller”.
  • To add or edit objects, click “Manage Objects”.
  • To add a new object, click “Add Object Definition”.
  • Enter desired object name and description in the designated fields. Save Changes when finished.
  • Too add or edit resources, click “Edit Resources”.
  • To add a new resource, click “Add Resource Definition”.
  • Enter a desired resource name and description in the designated fields.

SIMDATA – GENERATING REPORTS
  • To generate reports, click “Reports”.
  • Select a desired object, resource, process, and sequence you would like to run a report on. After doing so, click “Generate Report”.
  • By selecting “Any” in each field, you will view all data collected.
  •  
SIMDATA – CLEARING COLLECTED DATA
  • To clear all data collected, click “Clear Collected Data”.
  • Type “clear data” in the designated field at the bottom and click “Confirm Data Clear” to erase data.
  • Click “Reports” and generate any type of report and you will see all data collected has been erased.
  • Sequence, process, object, and resource definitions will still remain and are available for editing.

SIMDATA – CREATING SEQUENCES AND COLLECTING DATA
  • To create or edit sequences, click on the “Edit Sequences” button.
  • To add a new sequence, click “Add Sequence Definition”.
  • Enter the desired Sequence Name and description in the designated fields.
  • Select which resource and object you would like to use in this sequence.
  • Save the changes and return to the “Manage Sequences” screen. You will not be able to define the sequence steps without saving.
  • To define sequence steps, click on the desired sequence you would like to edit.
  • Click Define Sequence Steps and choose the desired resource, process, and object you would like in each step. Add any comments if needed, then click “Add Step” to add each step in the sequence.
  • To collect data on each sequence created, click “Single Sequence Collect”.
  • After running data reports, you will not be able to edit processes, objects, or resources. Make sure they are defined as you want them to be.
  • Select which sequence you would like to collect data on. You can then select which individual processes, resources, and objects (within the sequence) you would like to collect data on.

  • Click “Start” when you would like to begin recording time.
  • Data will appear after clicking “Stop” followed by clicking “Next”.
  • To collect data on a different sequence, click “Next” and select the desired options (Under Sequence Name).
  • Add any additional comments if needed.
  •
